Hot-dip galvanising dips the wire into a bath of molten zinc, forming a zinc layer that is metallurgically bonded to the surface. Even when that layer is scratched it protects the surrounding steel cathodically; unlike painted surfaces, rust does not begin at the scratch.
The bends in a panel are not just a visual choice. The horizontal bends give the panel a beam effect and, at the same wire thickness, it resists bending far better than a flat panel. That is why bent panels are chosen at heights of 200 cm and above.

Inland in Antalya a hot-dip galvanised panel serves for many years without maintenance. Along the coast salt-laden air spends the zinc faster, so there we recommend a panel that is powder coated over the galvanising.
If you want to stop small children or pets getting through, 2-3 cm is right; for standard perimeter security 5 cm is enough. The smaller the aperture, the more wire goes into the panel and the higher the cost.
